Ball and Berry have performed the Approved inspector role for an interesting domestic project in Huddersfield. The home was designed in the 1960s by renowned architect Arthur Quarmby, president of the earth sheltering association, famed for his pioneering earth house designs, including his much lauded ‘Underhill’ home.
The home has now been fully refurbished and, thanks to the tasteful design by Phi Architects, has retained its original 1960s essence yet, at the same time, is now a thoroughly modern home packed with the latest technologies fit for the 21st century.
